Casino-style games put money at risk on an uncertain outcome. A win may happen, but it is never guaranteed. Over time, repeated play can lead to serious financial and personal harm.
This page is not a decorative warning placed at the bottom of the site. Read it before depositing, not after a loss.
Casino games are not income
A casino app is not a job, investment, savings account or reliable side business. Promotional phrases such as “earning app,” “daily profit” and “easy withdrawal” can hide the basic fact that the player can lose the amount staked.
Do not plan household expenses around a hoped-for win. A temporary winning streak does not turn gambling into dependable income.
Before playing
- Confirm that you meet the legal age and that participation is permitted where you live.
- Decide the maximum amount you can lose without affecting bills or savings.
- Set a time limit before opening the game.
- Read the bonus, wagering, verification and withdrawal rules.
- Do not play while upset, under pressure, intoxicated or trying to solve a money problem.
- Never use another person’s payment details or identity.
Money that should never be used
Do not gamble with borrowed money, credit taken for another purpose, rent, school fees, medical funds, grocery money, utility payments, business cash or emergency savings.
If losing the deposit would create a crisis, the amount is not affordable.
Do not chase losses
Chasing a loss means increasing stakes or continuing longer because you feel that the next round must recover what has already gone. The previous result does not create a debt that the next game is required to repay.
Stop when the limit is reached. Do not deposit again because an agent, group administrator or pop-up message promises a special recovery bonus.
Warning signs
Gambling may be becoming harmful if you:
- spend more time or money than planned;
- hide deposits or losses from people close to you;
- borrow, sell belongings or delay bills to keep playing;
- feel restless, angry or anxious when you cannot play;
- keep increasing stakes to feel the same excitement;
- miss work, study, sleep or family responsibilities;
- return immediately after a loss to recover it;
- believe gambling is the only way out of debt;
- continue despite repeated account, payment or relationship problems.
Practical controls
Where available, use deposit limits, loss limits, time reminders, cooling-off periods, self-exclusion and marketing opt-outs. Do not treat these settings as a challenge to overcome.
You can also:
- remove saved payment methods;
- turn off promotional notifications;
- uninstall the app;
- block gambling websites on your devices;
- ask your bank or wallet provider about transaction controls;
- give a trusted person visibility over household finances;
- replace gambling time with a planned activity away from the phone.
If you are struggling
Stop playing and tell someone you trust. Contact a qualified mental-health professional, addiction service or financial counsellor available in your area. If debt is involved, deal with the debt directly rather than trying to win enough to hide it.
If you believe a website, agent or payment recipient has deceived you, preserve screenshots and transaction records. Use the appropriate official cybercrime or consumer complaint channel. Do not pay an extra “release,” “tax,” “verification” or “unlock” fee to recover an existing balance unless the demand has been independently verified through lawful terms.
Parents and families
Keep payment apps, identity documents and passwords away from children. Use device controls where needed. Do not allow a minor to play through an adult’s account.
If someone close to you is gambling harmfully, focus on safety and facts. Do not lend money that enables more play. Encourage professional help and protect shared finances.
Our publishing rule
We do not describe casino play as guaranteed income or risk-free entertainment. We may discuss downloads, games and payment claims, but each article should make the financial risk clear.
